Emergency Food Relief

The Tenbury Emergency Food Relief (EFR) is a charitable food bank run from the Tenbury NILS office. EFR offers a selection of non-perishable foods and toiletries.

This community project assists people from all walks of life who are in need, including single parents, the disabled, young families, the homeless and people in crisis.

Local community groups and churches help to raise awareness of the EFR with people who may need the service.

To receive EFR, clients need to visit the Tenbury Citizens Advice Bureau, where they offer support with budgeting and provide a referral to the EFR. To receive the food the client then takes a voucher to the EFR Food Bank at the NILS office.

Clients can receive EFR every fortnight for three months, then once a month for a further three months.

If you are visiting to collect food, please bring some bags.

We are grateful for the generous support we receive from the local schools, churches and individuals who donate non-perishable goods and funds. We are happy to accept donations during office hours.
